Mint Business Centre is happy to take the stress of phone calls away with our Phone Answering Services.

Our friendly team will answer your phone calls professionally and efficiently with your business name. All services provided by our team are performed as if it were for our very own company. We consider ourselves your latest employee, so your clients will never know we are an external business.

Our Phone Answering Service is available 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday, excluding Public Holidays.

How our Phone Answering Service works:

  • We link your business name to an allocated telephone number within our system. When your client calls, your business name is displayed on our phone system and is answered by our team using your business name
  • We work with you to ensure that our script accurately reflects your business
  • Messages are relayed back to you by SMS or email as often as you need

Alongside of taking messages, our team is also able to take further pressure off your shoulders by assisting your clients during the phone call by:

  • Taking payments for invoices
  • Resending or amending invoices
  • Making, rescheduling or confirming appointments

FAQ

What is a phone answering service? 

Much like a receptionist, our role involves handling incoming calls for your company. We perform tasks such as taking messages, scheduling appointments, offering information, and helping callers. 

 

How does the Mint BC team know which business is calling? 

Your business name is programmed into our system, so whenever we get a call for your business, your business name will show up allowing us to answer the call appropriately.

 

How do you answer the phone? 

All phone calls are answered with your business name, our team answers the phone with “thank you for calling your business name, you’re speaking with our team member’s name.”

 

How do I receive my messages? 

You can receive your messages through SMS, email, or they can be compiled into a report that’s sent out at specific times during the day – the decision is up to you. 

 

Is it necessary for me to inform you when I’ve forwarded my phone? 

No, there is no need for you to let us know when you’ve forwarded your calls. You can turn call forwarding on or off whenever you need or like. Calls will always show your business name on our phones, allowing us to answer appropriately. 

 

Are you locked into a contract? 

No, there are no locked in contracts. We only ask that if you want to cancel your service, please send us an email and your service will be cancelled at the end of the month we have received the email.


What if I get no phone calls within the month?

We only charge you for the services you use. You will have a monthly fee that is payable, however any phone calls, delivery of messages and any other actions we may take for you will be charged per action.


Do you offer 24 hour phone answering?

No, we currently offer our Phone Answering Service between 9am and 5pm on weekdays. We are closed on public holidays and weekends.


How soon can we be up and running?

All of our services can be up and running within 1 business day.

Mint Business Centre is located in Maryville, NSW which is only a short 5 minutes from Newcastle’s CBD.

 

Do you offer other services?
